Contact Us to schedule a class for your group or businessRegister for this class online now!!!The Heartsaver AED with Pediatric CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Pediatric CPR skills may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims.

The course can be configured in the following ways to optimally meet the needs of the target audience:

1.  Adult CPR and AED only:  Teaches CPR, use of an AED, and how to provide relief of choking for the adult victim.
2.  Adult CPR and AED, Child CPR and AED: Teaches CPR, use of an AED, and how to provide relief of choking for the adult and child victim.
3.  Adult CPR and AED, Child CPR and AED, and Infant CPR:  Teaches CPR, use of an AED, and how to provide relief of choking for the adult victim along with CPR and how to provide relief of choking for the infant victim.

Course Length: (Approximately)

1.  Adult only: 2 hours
2.  Adult and Child: 2.5 hours
3.  Adult, Child and Infant: 3.5 hours

Intended Audience
Responders such as police, airline personnel, security personnel, corporate employees, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, other rescuers, and those who need or want to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.
